Dear Clients and Friends,

In case you haven't heard, the Treasury Secretary has announced today that tax payments that normally would be due April 15, can be delayed for 90 days without being subject to penalties and interest. Note that tax returns or extensions should still be filed.

This guidance is for federal only. States are still formulating a response, and I plan to keep you posted.

My plan in the meantime, is to keep chugging away at preparing your tax returns as I receive your information. I understand the hesitation you may have in coming to our office due to the recommendation for limiting personal contact. We do have a conference room available to maintain distance, and we also have all of the technology necessary if you would rather not come to our office at all.

I'm here to support you in any way I can. My priority is for everyone to stay safe and healthy, and get through this tough time as stress-free as possible. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you,

Kathryn Bruns CPA
