Coronavirus practice update - 3/25/2020

Dear Friends and Clients,

I just learned that Buncombe County is ordered to stay at home (locked down) starting tomorrow and lasting for 2 weeks. The exception is for businesses deemed "essential" of which accounting has been listed as one such "essential" business function.

I'll be continuing to work on clients' taxes/books/etc for those that have already gotten records to me, as I committed to you to do so. Due to the lockdown, I cannot allow anyone to come to our offices until further notice. We will need to utilize electronic communication and transfer technology going forward. Anyone who has not yet gotten their records to me and won't be able to do so by March 31, remember that there has been published relief for due dates and payment dates that you can take advantage of. I imagine this relief will continue to develop in the coming weeks.

Please reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns, please be safe and careful, and hopefully we will all pull through this difficult time as quickly as possible. I know this is all very stressful and upsetting to everyone.

I thank you so much for the opportunity to be of service to you.
