Maybe this is the year to get an IP-PIN from the IRS

Hi everyone !

I've noticed an increase in scam and spam activity over the last 6 months to a year. I myself have had to be more vigilant than ever. I normally wouldn't recommend worrying too much about getting what the IRS suggests is an "Identity Protection PIN". I would think that normal safety protocols should suffice. However, I think it is in your best interest to consider this. If you do get one, please do so ASAP since I believe the window to get one is closing in a couple of weeks.

The attached summary provide some info on it. If you do get a PIN, please provide it to me since I will need it to file your taxes. I am also providing the link to the frequently asked questions.
